Søllerød

Søllerød is a town and former municipality in the Capital Region of Denmark, located north of Copenhagen. It is now part of the Rudersdal Municipality following the 2007 municipal reform. Before the reform, the Søllerød Municipality was one of the wealthiest in Denmark, known for its affluent residential areas and natural beauty, including forests and lakes.

Historically, Søllerød was a rural area, but it developed into a suburban community as Copenhagen expanded. It retains much of its green space, including areas around the Søllerød Lake (Søllerød Sø).
