John Dunne (basketball)

John Dunne is an American college basketball coach. He is currently the head men's basketball coach at Marist College.

Dunne's coaching career began as an assistant coach at Baruch College. He then held assistant coaching positions at Siena College, Seton Hall University, and St. John's University.

Dunne became the head coach at Adelphi University in 2006, where he led the Panthers to significant success, including multiple NCAA Tournament appearances.

In 2018, Dunne was named the head coach at Marist College. Since taking over the Red Foxes program, he has worked to improve the team's performance in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). His tenure at Marist has focused on rebuilding the program and fostering a competitive environment.
