Strathyre (Scottish Gaelic: Srath Eadhair) is situated in the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. The glen, Strathyre, is a long, narrow valley running roughly north-south. The River Balvag flows through the glen, eventually joining the River Dochart. The village of Strathyre sits along the A84 road, a major route through the Highlands. Ben Ledi is a prominent mountain to the east of the glen.
