Hjuksebø

Hjuksebø is a village and former municipality in Telemark county, Norway. The village itself is located in Midt-Telemark municipality.

Historically, Hjuksebø was a municipality in its own right. It was established as a municipality on January 1, 1883, when it was separated from Bø municipality. On January 1, 1964, Hjuksebø was merged back into Bø municipality.

The name "Hjuksebø" is derived from the Old Norse words hjúkr, meaning "heap" or "pile", and , meaning "farm". Thus, the name roughly translates to "farm with a heap/pile".

Hjuksebø is located along the European route E134 and near the Sørlandsbanen railway line.
