Dragonlord (band)

Dragonlord is an American black metal band formed in 2000. It is a side project of Eric Peterson, best known as the rhythm and lead guitarist of the thrash metal band Testament. Dragonlord allows Peterson to explore a darker, more fantastical and symphonic musical style than Testament.

The band's lyrical themes typically revolve around fantasy, mythology, and dark occultism, drawing inspiration from sources such as Tolkien and Moorcock. Musically, Dragonlord combines elements of black metal, death metal, and symphonic metal, often incorporating keyboards and orchestral arrangements to create a bombastic and epic sound.

Dragonlord has released several studio albums. The lineup, in addition to Eric Peterson, has varied over the years but has included notable musicians from the metal scene.
