Arado W 2

The Arado W 2 was a German single-seat parasol wing monoplane floatplane reconnaissance aircraft designed and built in the mid-1920s. It was developed by Arado Flugzeugwerke. Intended for naval or maritime patrol duties, the W 2 was powered by a Siemens-Halske Sh 12 radial engine. Although it was evaluated by the German Navy (Reichsmarine), it did not enter large-scale production, with only a small number built.
