Dik Evans
Dik Evans is a British musician and artist, best known as a member of the Virgin Prunes, an influential Irish post-punk band formed in Dublin in 1977. Evans, the brother of U2 guitarist The Edge (David Evans), adopted the stage name "Dik" during his time with the Virgin Prunes. He played guitar in the band, contributing to their experimental and theatrical sound. He left the Virgin Prunes in 1982, prior to the release of their debut album, ...If I Die, I Die.
Following his departure from the Virgin Prunes, Evans pursued other musical projects and artistic endeavors. He has been involved in various collaborations and continues to work in the arts. While his brother David achieved global fame with U2, Dik Evans maintained a lower profile, focusing on more experimental and independent projects.
