DISAMATIC

DISAMATIC is a trade name for a type of automatic flaskless molding system used in foundries. It is a high-speed, vertical molding process commonly employed for the mass production of small to medium-sized castings.

The DISAMATIC process involves creating molds directly in a continuous, tightly packed line of sand, eliminating the need for traditional flasks. Molten metal is then poured into the molds as they move along the line. After cooling, the castings are automatically separated from the sand, which is then recycled back into the system.
