Aspire TV (American TV network)

Aspire TV is an American digital cable and satellite television network. It is owned by UP Entertainment, which also owns UPtv. The network targets an African American audience with a focus on family-friendly, positive, and uplifting programming.

Aspire TV was originally founded by Magic Johnson and initially launched on June 27, 2012. At launch, programming included acquired movies, series, documentaries, and specials, alongside original content that often highlighted African American culture, faith, and achievements. Over time, Aspire has broadened its programming to include lifestyle and entertainment shows.

The network's distribution includes carriage agreements with major cable and satellite providers across the United States. Aspire TV aims to provide a positive and culturally relevant viewing experience for its target audience, distinguishing itself from other networks with a more niche and targeted approach. In 2022, UP Entertainment acquired Aspire TV.
