Albert Malet (painter)

Albert Malet (1903-1986) was a French painter known for his landscape and cityscape paintings, particularly of Paris. He often depicted scenes along the Seine river and the boulevards of the city. His style, while representational, often incorporated elements of Impressionism and Post-Impressionism, characterized by loose brushstrokes and a focus on capturing light and atmosphere. Malet's work is found in numerous private collections and has been exhibited in galleries throughout France.
