Rich Hill (Ohio)

Rich Hill is an unincorporated community in Muskingum County, Ohio, United States. It is located in Rich Hill Township, of which it is the principal settlement. The community is situated along State Route 666, approximately 8 miles southeast of New Concord and 15 miles southeast of Zanesville.

The community was laid out in 1836. Its name is derived from the fertile, hilly terrain of the surrounding area, known for its agricultural potential. Historically, Rich Hill served as a local trading center for the agricultural products of the region.
