Ajak Deng

Ajak Deng (born December 20, 1989) is a South Sudanese-Australian model. She began her professional modeling career in 2008 after moving to Australia from a refugee camp in Kenya. Deng has walked in runway shows for major designers and brands, including Givenchy, Valentino, Jean Paul Gaultier, Marc Jacobs, and Chloe. She has also appeared in editorial campaigns for publications such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Elle. Deng is known for her distinctive look, including her dark skin and shaved head. She has spoken out about issues of diversity and racism in the fashion industry.
