Sunrise (New Zealand TV programme)

Sunrise was a breakfast television programme broadcast on TV3 (now known as Three) in New Zealand. It aired weekdays from 6:00 am to 9:00 am. Launched in 2007 as a competitor to TVNZ's Breakfast, Sunrise covered news, weather, sport, and entertainment, targeting a broad audience.

Key features of the programme included live interviews, news updates from around the country and the world, weather forecasts presented by dedicated meteorologists, and segments focusing on lifestyle topics such as cooking, health, and gardening. It aimed to provide viewers with a comprehensive and engaging start to their day.

Over the years, Sunrise featured a variety of presenters and reporters. Changes in the on-air team and format were common, reflecting adjustments based on ratings and audience feedback.

The programme was eventually replaced by Paul Henry in 2015.
