Robert Walker (actor, born 1940)

Robert Walker (born April 15, 1940) is an American actor. He is often credited as Robert Walker Jr. to distinguish him from his father, actor Robert Walker (1918-1951). Walker is known for his roles in film and television throughout the 1960s, 1970s, and beyond.

Notable film credits include Easy Rider (1969), in which he played the character Jack, and Beware! The Blob (1972), which he also directed. He has also appeared in films such as The War Wagon (1967) and Young Billy Young (1969).

Walker’s television appearances include roles in series such as Star Trek ("Charlie X" episode, 1966), Bonanza, and Columbo. He has continued to act sporadically in more recent years.

He is the son of actors Robert Walker and Jennifer Jones. His personal life has received some media attention due to his famous parents and subsequent marriage to Ellie Wood Walker, daughter of writer Tom Wolfe.
