Thomas Williams (archdeacon of Craven)
Thomas Williams (died 1733) was an Anglican clergyman who served as Archdeacon of Craven within the Diocese of York.
Details of Williams' early life and education are scarce. He was appointed Archdeacon of Craven in 1708, a position he held until his death in 1733. As Archdeacon, Williams was responsible for the oversight of parishes within the Craven area of Yorkshire. His duties would have included the visitation of churches, the supervision of clergy, and the enforcement of ecclesiastical law.
Information regarding Williams' specific activities and accomplishments as Archdeacon is limited in available historical records. His successor as Archdeacon of Craven was Christopher Topham.
