Robert Hunt (American football, born 1996)

Robert Hunt (born August 5, 1996) is an American football offensive lineman for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Louisiana–Lafayette.

Early Life and High School

Hunt attended Burkeville High School in Burkeville, Texas, where he played football. He was a standout athlete, excelling as both an offensive and defensive lineman.

College Career

Hunt played college football at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from 2016 to 2019. He was a four-year starter for the Ragin' Cajuns, primarily playing at right tackle. He earned All-Sun Belt Conference honors multiple times throughout his collegiate career. He was known for his strength and athleticism on the offensive line.

Professional Career

Hunt was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the second round (39th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft. He played multiple positions on the offensive line for the Dolphins, including right tackle, right guard, and center. He quickly became a valuable and versatile player for the team. In March 2024, Hunt signed with the Carolina Panthers.
