Tulus (singer)

Tulus (born Muhammad Tulus Rusydi on August 20, 1987) is an Indonesian singer-songwriter. He is known for his soulful voice, poetic lyrics, and genre-bending style, which incorporates elements of pop, jazz, and R&B.

Tulus began his music career independently, releasing his self-titled debut album in 2011. The album garnered significant attention and critical acclaim, establishing him as a prominent figure in the Indonesian music scene. His subsequent albums, including Gajah (2014), Monokrom (2016), and Manusia (2022), have continued to be commercially successful and critically well-received.

Tulus's songs often explore themes of love, loss, self-discovery, and social commentary. He is known for his introspective lyrics and his ability to connect with audiences on an emotional level. Some of his most popular songs include "Sewindu," "Jangan Cintai Aku Apa Adanya," "Pamit," and "Hati-Hati di Jalan."
