Jeff Campbell (businessman)
Jeff Campbell is an American businessman and executive. He is currently the CEO of Crown Castle International Corp., a real estate investment trust (REIT) that owns, operates, and leases shared wireless infrastructure, including cell towers, small cells, and fiber.
Campbell joined Crown Castle in 2003 and held various leadership positions before being appointed CEO in June 2016. Prior to becoming CEO, he served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President, responsible for all of Crown Castle's operations. He also held positions in corporate development and strategy.
Before joining Crown Castle, Campbell worked in investment banking. He holds a bachelor's degree from Amherst College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
During his tenure as CEO, Crown Castle has focused on expanding its small cell and fiber footprint to support the growing demand for mobile data and 5G wireless technology.
