Economic Forum (in Poland)
The Economic Forum (Polish: Forum Ekonomiczne) is an annual international conference held in Poland. Often referred to as the "Polish Davos," it brings together political, economic, and social leaders from Central and Eastern Europe, as well as other parts of the world.
The forum serves as a platform for discussion on key issues facing the region and the wider global community. Topics typically covered include economic development, security, energy policy, social issues, and international relations.
The event features panel discussions, debates, presentations, and networking opportunities. Participants include heads of state, government ministers, CEOs, experts, and representatives from non-governmental organizations and academia.
The Economic Forum aims to foster cooperation and collaboration among its participants, contributing to solutions for the challenges facing the region and promoting sustainable economic growth. Its location in Poland makes it a particularly important venue for discussions relevant to Central and Eastern Europe. The Forum has expanded over the years, growing in both size and international significance. It often culminates in policy recommendations and calls for action that are circulated among policymakers and other relevant stakeholders.
