Carlos Fernández (footballer, born 1992)

Carlos Fernández (born May 22, 1992) is a Spanish professional footballer who currently plays as a forward for Real Zaragoza.

Career

Fernández began his youth career at Sevilla FC, progressing through their academy ranks. He made his debut for Sevilla Atlético, the club's reserve team. After several seasons with the B team, he made his first-team debut for Sevilla in 2013.

Throughout his career, Fernández has experienced various loan spells at different clubs in Spain, including Real Zaragoza, Deportivo de La Coruña, and Granada CF. These loan spells allowed him to gain valuable playing time and experience in different leagues and environments.

He achieved promotion with Granada CF during his loan spell there, playing a significant role in their success.

In January 2021, Fernández transferred to Real Sociedad.

In August 2023, Fernández returned to Real Zaragoza.
