Parallax (TV series)

Parallax is an Australian science fiction children's television series that aired from 2004 to 2005. It was produced by Dennis Kiely of Paradox Animation and John Gau Productions. The series revolves around a group of teenagers who discover a gateway to multiple parallel universes after a mysterious explosion at a science facility.

The main protagonist, Ben Faraday, discovers he has the ability to "phase" between these universes. Ben, along with his friends Katherine "Kath" McKinley, Francis "Pig" Higby, and Una, embark on adventures through these different realities, facing challenges and threats unique to each world. The parallel universes they encounter are often reflections or distorted versions of their own, with different rules and inhabitants.

Throughout the series, the teenagers must learn to control their abilities, protect the gateways from exploitation, and ultimately unravel the mystery behind the explosion and its connection to the parallel universes. The show explores themes of friendship, responsibility, and the consequences of scientific experimentation.

The series was broadcast on the Nine Network in Australia and was later syndicated to other countries. It ran for two seasons, comprising a total of 26 episodes.
