Vinnova

Vinnova is the Swedish Innovation Agency. It is a government agency that funds research and innovation projects with the aim of strengthening Sweden's innovation capacity and contributing to sustainable growth.

Vinnova's mission is to:

• Promote innovation in areas that are important for Sweden's competitiveness and sustainable development.
• Fund collaborative projects between companies, universities, research institutes and other actors.
• Support the commercialization of new technologies and solutions.
• Analyze and monitor innovation trends.
• Participate in international collaborations on innovation.

Vinnova focuses on a variety of sectors, including but not limited to, information and communication technology (ICT), life sciences, materials technology, and transport. The agency's activities are guided by national and international policy goals related to innovation, research, and development. Vinnova operates under the Ministry of Enterprise and Innovation in Sweden.
