Al Singer
Al Singer (1909-1961) was an American lyricist during the Tin Pan Alley era. He is best known for co-writing the lyrics to the popular song "A Dreamer's Holiday" (music by Kim Gannon), which became a hit for Perry Como in 1944. Singer also wrote lyrics for other songs, though none achieved the same level of success as "A Dreamer's Holiday." Further biographical information on Singer is scarce, making it difficult to compile a comprehensive overview of his life and career. He passed away in 1961 at the age of 51 or 52.
