John Barker (Kansas politician)

John Barker is a Republican politician from Kansas. He served as a member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing the 70th district, which includes parts of Dickinson and Marion counties, from 2013 to 2023.

Barker served on several committees during his tenure, including Judiciary, Corrections and Juvenile Justice, and Taxation. He was known for his conservative stance on issues such as taxation, abortion, and gun rights. He did not seek re-election in 2022.
