AGO C.II

The AGO C.II was a German reconnaissance aircraft used during World War I. Designed and manufactured by AGO (Apparatebau GmbH), it was a two-seat, twin-boom biplane. The C.II was primarily used for observation and artillery spotting roles on the Eastern Front. It was powered by a Mercedes D.III engine and armed with a single 7.92mm Parabellum MG14 machine gun for the observer. While not exceptionally advanced or revolutionary in design, the AGO C.II was a reliable workhorse for the German military during the early to mid-war period. Its twin-boom configuration allowed for a clear field of fire for the observer.
