Sam Melville (actor)
Sam Melville (1936-1989) was an American actor best known for his roles in television series of the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s.
Early Life and Career: Melville was born on August 20, 1936, in Fillmore, Utah. He began his acting career with stage work before transitioning to television.
Television Roles: Melville gained significant recognition for his role as Officer Mike Danko in the ABC police drama The Rookies (1972-1976). He also appeared in numerous other television series, including Combat!, The Fugitive, Mission: Impossible, Mannix, The Bold Ones: The Lawyers, Police Story, Charlie's Angels, Dallas, Trapper John, M.D., Airwolf, and Star Trek: Voyager. He often played law enforcement or military characters.
