Menjelma

Menjelma means to manifest, transform, appear in a different form, or reincarnate (in some contexts). It describes the process of changing from one state or appearance into another, often implying a significant alteration or a shift into a visible or tangible form from something less concrete. The word is frequently used in Indonesian and Malay literature, mythology, and everyday speech to describe magical transformations, the appearance of spirits or deities, or the realization of abstract ideas. The nuance often carries a sense of power or otherworldliness associated with the change. It can be used reflexively (menjelmakan diri) to mean to manifest oneself.
