Ben Brown (baseball)

Ben Brown is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Chicago Cubs organization.

Brown attended Ward Melville High School in East Setauket, New York. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 33rd round of the 2017 Major League Baseball draft but did not sign and instead attended State College of Florida, Manatee. He was then drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 13th round of the 2020 Major League Baseball draft.

Brown began his professional career with the Arizona League Dodgers, followed by stints with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. He was traded to the Chicago Cubs in exchange for Mychal Givens in July 2022. Following the trade, he was assigned to the South Bend Cubs.

Brown made his Major League Baseball debut with the Chicago Cubs in 2023. He is known for his fastball and curveball.
