Hi-Tek (album)

Hi-Teknology is the debut studio album by American hip hop producer Hi-Tek. It was released on June 5, 2001, on Rawkus Records. The album is largely self-produced, featuring collaborations with various artists, including Common, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Q-Tip, and Buckshot. Hi-Teknology is considered a significant album in the development of midwestern hip hop and is noted for its sample-heavy, soulful production style. The album spawned several singles, including "Round & Round" and "The Blast."
