Duckweed (film)
Duckweed is a 2017 Chinese comedy-drama film written and directed by Han Han. It tells the story of a Formula One race car driver, Ah Lang (Deng Chao), who dislikes his seemingly unaccomplished father, Ah Zheng (Eddie Peng). After a near-fatal accident, Ah Lang travels back in time to 1998 and encounters his father as a young man leading a gang of thugs called the "Riding Wind Gang" in his hometown.
The film explores themes of family, regret, and the challenges of pursuing one's dreams. As Ah Lang spends time with his younger father, he gains a new understanding of Ah Zheng's life and motivations, ultimately changing his perspective on their relationship.
