Mossi Raz
Mossi Raz (Hebrew: מוסי רז, born December 19, 1965) is an Israeli politician, peace activist, and journalist. He served as a member of the Knesset for Meretz from 2000 to 2003 and again from 2019 to 2022.
Raz is a long-time advocate for human rights and social justice. He is a vocal proponent of the two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and has been involved in various peace initiatives.
Before entering politics, Raz worked as a journalist and was involved in several human rights organizations, focusing on issues such as Palestinian rights and freedom of speech. He has also been active in promoting LGBT rights in Israel.
During his time in the Knesset, Raz served on several committees, including the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee. He focused on issues related to civil liberties, environmental protection, and social equality.
Following the October 7, 2023, attacks on Israel, Raz faced criticism for statements he made regarding the context of the conflict.
