Mel Johnson (umpire)

Mel Johnson is a former Major League Baseball (MLB) umpire. He wore uniform number 43. His MLB career spanned from 1979 to 2000.

Johnson officiated in the 1991 World Series, the 1996 National League Championship Series, and the 1985 American League Championship Series. He also worked the 1988 and 1999 All-Star Games.
