David Bain (Australian footballer)

David Bain (born 18 December 1974) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Fitzroy and North Melbourne in the Australian Football League (AFL).

Originally from Barooga, Bain was recruited from the Murray Bushrangers. He debuted for Fitzroy in 1994 and played 20 games for the club over two seasons. A key position player, Bain was traded to North Melbourne at the end of the 1995 season. He played 15 games for North Melbourne in 1996 and 1997, including the 1996 Grand Final, where he was a reserve. Bain was delisted by North Melbourne at the end of the 1997 season.
