Kilkenny (Dáil constituency)

Kilkenny was a Dáil Éireann constituency in Ireland. It existed from 1921 to 1937, electing members to the Dáil using proportional representation with varying seat allocations. It was succeeded by Carlow–Kilkenny.

Initially, in 1921, it was a four-seat constituency. In 1922, it became a three-seat constituency and remained as such until its dissolution. The constituency covered County Kilkenny.

Notable TDs (Teachtaí Dála, Members of Parliament) who represented Kilkenny included William Thomas Cosgrave, who later served as President of the Executive Council of the Irish Free State.
