Asajaya (state constituency)

Asajaya is a state constituency in the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly, Malaysia. It is located within the Samarahan Division.

The constituency was created in 1968 and is represented by a member of the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly elected through the Malaysian electoral system.

Asajaya is currently held by the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) coalition. Historically, the area has been a stronghold for parties aligned with the Sarawak government. The Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Asajaya plays a key role in representing the interests of the constituents within the Sarawak state government.
