Saint Thomas More High School (Milwaukee)
Saint Thomas More High School is a Catholic high school located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is operated by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. The school's history dates back to the merger of two all-girls Catholic high schools, Notre Dame High School and Pio Nono High School, in 1972. Saint Thomas More is named after the English lawyer, social philosopher, author, statesman and Renaissance humanist, Thomas More, who was canonized as a saint by the Catholic Church.
The school offers a college preparatory curriculum. It participates in a variety of sports and extracurricular activities within the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA). Saint Thomas More serves students from Milwaukee and surrounding communities. Its campus is located on Milwaukee's south side.
