Clueless (game show)

Clueless was a short-lived American game show based on the 1995 film of the same name. The show aired in syndication during the 1996-1997 television season. While it used the name and some thematic elements from the movie Clueless, and featured a similar setting of a wealthy high school, it was otherwise unconnected to the film or the subsequent Clueless television series starring Rachel Blanchard that aired on ABC and UPN.

The game show Clueless was structured around trivia questions geared towards a teen audience. Contestants, typically teenagers, competed in rounds of questions related to pop culture, current events, and general knowledge. The goal was to accumulate points and advance to the final round for a chance to win prizes. The show was hosted by a different celebrity guest each week.

The show was notable for its bright, colorful set design, reminiscent of the Beverly Hills setting of the film, and for its attempts to capture the lighthearted and trendy tone associated with Clueless. However, the game show failed to gain a significant audience and was cancelled after one season. It is largely considered a footnote in the Clueless franchise, often overshadowed by the success of the film and the subsequent television series.
