Jim Beach

Jim Beach (born James Cuthbert Beach in 1942) is a British lawyer, manager, and businessman, best known for his role as the long-time manager of the rock band Queen.

Beach studied law at Cambridge University. Before managing Queen, he worked as a lawyer and specialized in entertainment law. He became Queen's manager in 1978, replacing John Reid.

As manager, Beach guided Queen through various periods of their career, including their performance at Live Aid in 1985, Freddie Mercury's illness and death, and their continued success with various projects and albums after Mercury's passing. He is credited with helping to navigate the band's business affairs and protect their creative rights.

Beach is the founder and CEO of Jim Beach Productions, also known as Queen Productions Ltd. He was a co-producer of the biographical film Bohemian Rhapsody (2018), which told the story of Queen and Freddie Mercury. His involvement in the film was crucial in ensuring accuracy and protecting the band's legacy.

In addition to his work with Queen, Beach has been involved with other musical acts and productions. His contributions to the music industry extend beyond management, encompassing film and theatrical production. He continues to oversee Queen's affairs and legacy.
