Eddie Burke (baseball)

Eddie Burke (born October 23, 1888, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, died November 23, 1969, in Scranton, Pennsylvania) was a professional baseball player. Burke was a right-handed pitcher who played in Major League Baseball for one season, 1914, with the Philadelphia Athletics. He appeared in 2 games, pitching a total of 3 innings, and recording no wins or losses. His earned run average was 6.00. He had no recorded at-bats. After his brief major league career, Burke continued to play in the minor leagues.
