Electoral district of Windsor (Queensland)

The Electoral district of Windsor is a former electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of Queensland. It existed from 1912 to 1992.

Windsor was located in inner northern Brisbane, encompassing the suburb of Windsor and surrounding areas. Its boundaries changed periodically due to electoral redistributions, reflecting population shifts and ensuring equitable representation.

Over its history, the seat was held by representatives from various political parties, including the Labor Party, the Country and Progressive National Party (later the National Party), and the Liberal Party. Prominent members who represented Windsor included figures who went on to hold ministerial positions.

The abolition of the district occurred in 1992 following an electoral redistribution which saw its area divided among other electorates.
