Päinurme
Päinurme is a village in Järva Parish, Järva County, Estonia. It is located approximately 9 kilometers (5.6 miles) southeast of Paide. As of the 2011 census, the population of Päinurme was 162.
The village has a historical manor house, Päinurme manor (German: Paynurm), which dates back to at least the 16th century. The current main building of the manor, a neo-Renaissance structure, was built in the late 19th century.
Historically, the area surrounding Päinurme has been significant for agriculture.
Päinurme is also notable for being the birthplace of Estonian wrestler Hermann Aaremäe.
