Matthews House (North Little Rock, Arkansas)

The Matthews House is a historic house located at 905 Bishop Street in North Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a two-story Craftsman-style bungalow, built in 1915 for Albert Matthews, a local businessman. The house is characterized by its broad front porch with tapered columns, exposed rafter tails, and wide eaves. The exterior is clad in weatherboard siding.

The Matthews House is significant as a well-preserved example of Craftsman architecture in North Little Rock and for its association with Albert Matthews, who played a role in the city's early 20th-century development. Matthews was involved in various business ventures, including real estate and manufacturing.

The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.
