George Hemingway (cricketer)
George Hemingway (born 1873, date of death unknown) was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Derbyshire between 1899 and 1900.
Hemingway was born in Belper, Derbyshire. He made his debut for Derbyshire in May 1899 against Lancashire, taking one wicket. He played six first-class matches in the 1899 season and four in the 1900 season. He was a right-arm medium-pace bowler and took 16 first-class wickets at an average of 26.81 and a best performance of 4 for 74. He was a right-handed batsman and played 10 innings in 10 first-class matches with a top score of 26 and an average of 6.33.
