USS Eutaw
The USS Eutaw was the name of two ships in the United States Navy. The name derives from the Battle of Eutaw Springs, a significant engagement in the Southern Theater of the American Revolutionary War.

USS Eutaw (1863): A Casco-class monitor launched in 1863, but never commissioned. Her construction was halted in 1865 due to the end of the American Civil War and changing naval priorities. She was later renamed Hercules in 1869, and ultimately sold for scrap.

USS Eutaw (AT-56/ATA-76/AG-72): A Navajo-class fleet tug commissioned in 1943. She served extensively in the Pacific Theater during World War II, participating in numerous operations, including the invasions of Iwo Jima and Okinawa. After the war, she continued to serve in various capacities, including as a target towing vessel and auxiliary general vessel. She was decommissioned in 1985 and struck from the Naval Vessel Register.
