Stalać

Stalać is a town and municipality located in the Pomoravlje District of central Serbia. It is situated at the confluence of three rivers: the Južna Morava, the Zapadna Morava, and the Ćelavska Reka, forming the Velika Morava river.

The town's strategic location at the meeting point of these rivers has historically made it a significant military and trading post. The name "Stalać" is believed to derive from the verb "stati" (to stand), referring to its position as a strategic point to "stand" or defend.
