Olperer

The Olperer is a 3,476-meter (11,404 ft) high mountain in the Zillertal Alps, located in Tyrol, Austria. It is a popular destination for mountaineering and hiking, known for its dramatic ridgelines and panoramic views. The peak is often accessed via the Olpererhütte, a mountain hut located at 2,389 meters. The surrounding area includes the Gepatschferner glacier and several other notable peaks within the Zillertal Alps. The name "Olperer" is believed to have Rhaeto-Romanic origins.
