Indane (LPG)

Indane is a Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) brand in India, owned and marketed by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), a state-owned oil and gas company. It is primarily used as a cooking fuel in households and commercially. Indane cylinders are readily available in various sizes to cater to different consumption needs.

LPG, in general, is a mixture of hydrocarbon gases, primarily propane and butane. It is stored and transported in liquid form under pressure. When released, the liquid vaporizes into a gas that can be burned for heat.

Indane cylinders are distributed through a network of authorized distributors and dealers across India. Safety measures are implemented throughout the distribution process to minimize risks associated with handling flammable gas. Consumers are advised to adhere to safety guidelines provided by IOCL to ensure the safe use of Indane LPG.
