Joseph Allison (Canadian politician)

Joseph Allison (born c. 1843, died January 24, 1921) was a Canadian politician. He represented Hants County in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 1906 to 1911 as a Liberal member.

Allison was a farmer from Newport, Hants County. He married Mary Burgess in 1865. Before entering provincial politics, he served as a municipal councillor. He unsuccessfully contested the Hants seat in the 1904 election before winning in 1906. He was defeated in 1911.
