Martin Lang (rugby league)
Martin Lang (born 14 March 1975) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the National Rugby League (NRL). A prop forward, Lang played for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, the Penrith Panthers, and the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
Lang began his NRL career with the Cronulla Sharks in 1996, where he played for several seasons. He then moved to the Penrith Panthers in 2001, where he achieved premiership success, playing in the Panthers' victorious 2003 NRL Grand Final team. He was selected for the New South Wales State of Origin team in 2003.
In 2005, Lang joined the South Sydney Rabbitohs, where he finished his NRL career. He was known for his toughness and strong work ethic on the field. Since retirement, Lang has been involved in media work and other ventures outside of rugby league. He is the son of former Australian international rugby league footballer, John Lang.
