Mama Lion
Mama Lion was an American rock band active from 1972 to 1973. Fronted by vocalist Lynn Carey, Mama Lion was known for its blues-rock sound and Carey's powerful vocals and stage presence. The band released two albums, Preserve Wildlife (1972) and Give It Everything I've Got (1973), before disbanding. While not achieving mainstream success, Mama Lion gained a cult following for its raw energy and Lynn Carey's distinctive voice, blending elements of rock, blues, and soul. The group's music often featured themes of female empowerment and social commentary.
